The area of interests of the inorganic chemistry group covers the spectrum from physical-inorganic to synthetic inorganic and organometallic chemistry. The main research focused lies in coordination chemistry and bioinorganic chemistry. Coordination compounds of particular interest are those that show biological activity such as anti-cancer, anti-microbial or anti-oxidant activity. An important goal is to determine the structure-biological activity relationship of the compounds synthesised using computational studies.
