Research in statistical methods focus on the development and the modification of the existing statistical methods. Some of the research topics in statistics include robust statistics, survival analysis, time series and spatial analysis, diagnostic and inference, Bayesian, extreme value theory, design and analysis of experimental data, mathematical biology and medical statistics.
