KUALA LUMPUR - The Faculty of Science held an industry visit on 7 July 2022 to OR Technologies in conjunction with the CEO@PTJ Program. This program under the management of UPM's Industrial Relations and Networking Center (CirNet) is an initiative in developing collaboration between industry and PTJ in UPM.

Accordingly, the Department of Mathematics and Statistics has begun the move by collaborating with Ts. Ahmad Hadzramin Abdul Rahman who is the Founder and Managing Director of OR Technologies Sdn Bhd. Among the programs that can be organized together are the sharing of knowledge and experience from an industry perspective, graduate marketability programs where students are exposed to the current needs of the industry and seek expert advice from UPM researchers on industrial enterprises.

Participating in the visit was the Deputy Dean (Development and Networking) of the Faculty of Science, Prof. Prof. Dr. Muskhazli Mustafa, Head of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Prof. Prof. Dr. Siti Hasana Sapar, Dr. Muhammad Aslam Mohd Safari and Encik Syafiq Hariz Mohd Hanafiah.
