INTRODUCTION
A physics degree is a great starting point for career in scientific research, as well as in a range of careers in the business, finance, administration, technology, ICT and engineering.
OBJECTIVES
To produce physicists that is highly knowledgeable in theoretical and practical aspect and competitive in the industry related to physics whether it is local or international level.
To produce researcher that is highly knowledgeable in terms of innovation and advancement of education in physics.
To produce officers who have good etiquettes with integrity.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
STPM Graduates
Obtain at least C+ Grade (NGMP 2.33) in STPM for Physics subject;
and
Obtain at least C Grade (NGMP 2.00) in STPM for the following subjects:
Mathematics (T);
and
Biology/Chemistry;
and
Obtain at least Band 2 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
Matriculation/Foundation Study Graduates
Obtain at least C+ Grade (2.33) in Matriculation/Foundation Studies level in Physics/Physics (Engineering) subject;
and
Obtain at least C Grade (2.00) in Matriculation/Foundation Studies level in two (2) of the following subjects:
Mathematics;
and
Biology/Chemistry/Chemistry (Engineering);
and
Obtain at least Band 2 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
Diploma Graduates
Obtain Diploma in relevant fields or other qualification that is approved by UPM Senate;
and
Obtain at least C Grade at SPM level in Physics/Biology/Chemistry subject;
and
Obtain at least Band 2 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
