Master in Materials Physic

Introduction

Master in Materials Physics is a 40-credit coursework based graduate program including 6 credits of dissertation (3 credits for each of the 2 semesters). Objective of this program is to produce graduates who are knowledgeable and skilful in the physics of materials. This program also offers an opportunity for advanced studies and career development in the related fields. Career options for graduates of this program are wide ranging from government to private sectors related to materials physics. Teaching and learning are based on both conventional and modern approaches including lecture, tutorial, laboratory work, project and assignment, case study, seminar, critical comment and dissertation. A student may complete the study of this program in a minimum period of 2 semesters and a maximum period of 6 semesters. Currently, activities of teaching and learning are conducted on weekdays during office hours only. Nevertheless, classes may be arranged on weekend or after office hours under certain circumstances and subject to the number of students, for the convenience of those who have work commitment.
