INTRODUCTION

People pursuing physics with education should be comfortable working with teenagers. They have both the interest and aptitude in science and the ability to communicate the ideas of physics to young minds.

OBJECTIVES

1. Researcher that applies long-life learning principle to develop competition and able to contribute to the exploration and expansion of knowledge to assist in country development.
2. Physicists that have physics knowledge and skills in general and advances with good education background.
3. Researchers that have good etiquettes and integrity and able to communicate and interact effectively.
   
   

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

STPM Graduates

Obtain at least CGPA 2.75;
and
Obtain at least B- Grade (NGMP 2.67) in STPM for Physics subject;
and
Obtain at least C+ Grade (NGMP 2.33) in STPM for the following subjects:
Mathematics (T); 
and
Obtain at least C Grade (NGMP 2.00) in STPM for the following subjects:
Biology/Chemistry
and
Obtain at least Band 2 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
and
Pass minimum level of MedSI Test and pass interview session that has been scheduled.

Matriculation/Foundation Study Graduates

Obtain at least CGPA 2.75;
and
Obtain at least B- Grade (2.67) in Matriculation/Foundation Studies level in Physics/Physics (Engineering) subject;
and
Obtain at least C+ Grade (2.33) in Matriculation/Foundation Studies level in two (2) of the following subjects:
Mathematics; 
and
Obtain at least C Grade (2.00) in Matriculation/Foundation Studies level in two (2) of the following subjects:
Biology/Chemistry/Chemistry (Engineering);
and
Obtain at least Band 2 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET);
and
Pass minimum level of MedSI Test and pass interview session that has been scheduled. 

Diploma Graduates

Obtain at least CGPA 3.00;
and
Obtain Diploma in relevant fields or other qualification that is approved by UPM Senate;
or
Obtain Diploma/Ministry of Education Malaysia Teaching Certificate and have three (3) years teaching experience;
and
Obtain at least C Grade at SPM level in Physics/Biology/Chemistry subject;
and
Obtain at least Band 2 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
and
Pass minimum level of MedSI Test and pass interview session that has been scheduled.
