The department has three state-of-the-art computer laboratories which are available to the students almost all the time. These computers are equipped with the latest softwares and are connected to the Universitys network, UPMNET thereby providing windows of the world. The department also has a resource centre which is furbished with the current journals for convenient references for the students.The Bachelor of Science (Honours) Major in Statistics is designed to produce mathematics graduates who are knowledgeable in their fields and well-equipped to carry out research.
