Many developments in physics involve theoretical formulations and computer simulations. In this group we mainly focus on mathematical structures for quantum theory, quantum simulations and design, and also computer-based materials for physics education. Current research interest includes geometrical structure of quantum states, geometric quantization, geometrical quantum logic, quantum simulation and design from first principles calculations based on density functional theory, web-based instructional materials, multimedia visualizations, technology and methodology in physics education.
