Serdang, March 6, 2024 - The Department of Physics welcomed students and teachers from the Global Modern International School (GMIS) on an educational visit. A total of 60 students from grades 8 and 9 participated in the program organized by the Department of Physics in collaboration with the Faculty of Science. The program is also joined by deparmental staffs and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siti Hasana Sapar, the Deputy Dean of Academic and Students' Affairs of Faculty of Science.

This organized visit is part of an effort to familiarize students with the environment and resources available in teaching and research laboratories.

Initiatives like these are considered invaluable platforms for deepening students' understanding of physics and exposing them to various aspects of the field. By engaging in hands-on activities and witnessing demonstrations, students have the opportunity to explore concepts beyond what they learn in textbooks, fostering a deeper appreciation for the subject.
