Serdang, March 3 – The Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Faculty of Science, UPM organized its monthly seminar on January 22, 2025, titled “Solving Fractional Integro-Differential Equations Using Polynomial Neural Network Methods.” The seminar was held at the Al-Khawarizmi Seminar Room from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM and was presented by Khawthar Alsa'di, a postgraduate student from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Faculty of Science, UPM.
The seminar aimed to introduce the latest techniques for solving fractional integro-differential equations using polynomial neural network methods. Fractional integro-differential equations are becoming an increasingly important area of mathematical research due to their applications in various fields such as physics, engineering, and economics. The speaker also discussed the mathematical approach and practical applications of this method, providing participants with a deeper understanding of modern solution techniques for complex mathematical problems.
The seminar was attended by students, researchers, and professionals interested in exploring this field. It is hoped that this program provided participants with an opportunity to learn and exchange ideas on a topic that is highly relevant in modern mathematics.
