Serdang, 28 Okt - On October 10 to 11, 2024, the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Faculty of Science, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) hosted Spatial Data Analysis and Visualization Workshop. The event took place from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM in the Graduate Seminar Room, Department of Mathematics and Statistics.

This workshop aims to provide comprehensive exposure to spatial data analysis techniques using Alteryx and Tableau software. Participants were introduced to fundamental concepts, visualization techniques, and practical applications relevant to data analysis. The workshop include 10 participants, comprising lecturers and students from the department, who gained new skills to enhance their abilities in data analysis.

The workshop was held in collaboration with OR Technologies Sdn Bhd, which will provide guidance and technical support to participants. Attendees were expected to leverage this experience to strengthen their knowledge and apply the skills learned in future research and projects.
