SERDANG, 9 March – Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and Koperasi Alumni Sekolah Alam Shah Berhad (KO-ASAS) have officially strengthened their collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony held on 6 March 2026 at 9.30 a.m. at the Al-Khawarizmi Seminar Room.

The MoU aims to enhance strategic cooperation between the academic institution and the alumni cooperative in expanding educational initiatives, knowledge development, and the implementation of impactful programs for students and the wider community.

This collaboration was initiated following the successful Arduino Workshop organized in 2023 under the leadership of Dr. Nadihah Wahi. The initiative has since been continuously sustained and further developed, culminating in this formal partnership.

Through this MoU, both parties express their commitment to strengthening collaboration, particularly in the fields of automation and artificial intelligence (AI). The partnership is also expected to open up opportunities for various academic programs, knowledge sharing, and human capital development driven by technology and innovation.

The signing of this MoU marks an important milestone in fostering stronger ties between academia and alumni networks, paving the way for more innovative and meaningful collaborations in the future.
