Faculty of Science congratulated on the success of Assoc Prof Dr Mat Rofa Ismail won the scientific literature or Karya Ilmiah 2014 award (in science and technology category) for his book Mantik dan Etnomantik,which was picked by the Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP) and the National Professors' Council (MPN) as the best book published in 2014.

The award was presented by the Deputy Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin in conjunction with the launch of the National Language Month in Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC).

Assoc Prof Dr Mat Rofawho is a lecturer at the Mathematics Department, won the award certificate and a check worth RM20,000.
