The Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), through the UPM-FAHLA Centre for Advanced Medical Physics, successfully organised the UPM-FAHLA Synapse 3D Workshop entitled "Advancing Medical Imaging Research with Advanced Visualization & Quantitative Analysis Using FUJIFILM Synapse 3D" on 23 July 2026 at the Al-Khawarizmi Seminar Room, Faculty of Science, UPM.
The one-day workshop brought together researchers, academics, postgraduate students, and healthcare professionals to explore the latest advancements in medical imaging research. Throughout the programme, participants attended expert lectures, live demonstrations, and hands-on training sessions using FUJIFILM Synapse 3D for CT and MRI image analysis.
Participants also gained valuable insights into quantitative imaging analysis, imaging biomarkers, AI-assisted image analysis, and effective approaches to producing high-impact research in medical imaging.
The Department of Physics extends its sincere appreciation to FUJIFILM Healthcare Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., all distinguished speakers, facilitators, the organising committee, and every participant for contributing to the success of this workshop.
