Serdang, 24 Mac – The Mathematical Science and Statistics Seminar 2025 (MSSS2025) took place from February 24 to 25, 2025, at the Faculty of Science, Universiti Putra Malaysia, and Bangi Golf Resort. This hybrid seminar, themed “Driving the Future: The Role of Mathematics and Statistics in Digital and AI-Enabled Technologies,” highlighted the significant role of mathematics and statistics in the development of digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI).

This annual event was organized by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Faculty of Science, UPM, in collaboration with Universitas Hasanudin (UNHAS) and Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD) from Indonesia. The seminar featured experts in mathematics and statistics, who shared their knowledge and the latest research on how these fields support the advancement of digital technology and AI.

A total of 50 presenters from diverse backgrounds, including students, researchers, and professionals, successfully presented their research findings during the seminar. The event also provided a platform for international collaboration, strengthening research and innovation in the fields of mathematics and statistics.
