SCi-TIZEN Postgraduate Association (SCiPA)

BACKGROUND

The SCi-TIZEN Postgraduate Association (SCiPA) is an association established under the Faculty of Science, Universiti Putra Malaysia. SCiPA is a proactive organization dedicated to uniting postgraduate students of the Faculty of Science in advancing science and technology through research and innovation. The association strives to cultivate high-quality, ethical, and globally competitive graduates. SCiPA was founded to fulfil several core missions, including supporting research and innovation, fostering academic and professional development, promoting community engagement, enhancing leadership and personal growth, and encouraging sustainability and social responsibility among postgraduate students.

	The π (pi) symbol represents the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, symbolizing logical, precise, and analytical thinking.
	The red orbit surrounding the text represents the Department of Physics, emphasizing exploration and innovation.
	The graduation mortarboard cap represents the postgraduate community, reflecting academic effort and achievement.
	The globe symbolizes that postgraduate students in the Faculty of Science have the capability to be globally competitive.
