Physics Students Club

Physics undergraduates are actively involved in the student society of the Department, known as the Physics Club UPM. The club was established in 1986 when a group of students showed interest in exploring astronomy. This enthusiasm arose as Halley’s Comet was passing close to the solar system for several months at the time. The comet’s appearance sparked the curiosity of both the Department’s academics and the students during that period.
